Message from Our Lady Queen of Peace to Edson Glauber - Feast of the wedding of Mary Most Holy and Saint Joseph
Peace be with you!
Dear children, I come from heaven tonight to invite you to pray for families and for all spouses. Holy families are God's families, where he reigns with his love. Families in sin are families without God's grace and without life. Pray that many families will rise to God's grace, leaving the path of sin. You cannot imagine how many families are destroyed in sin every day. Their number is so great that it crushes my Heart in pain. Pray for the sanctification of unfaithful spouses. How many offend God gravely with sins of infidelity, impurity and adultery. God can no longer bear so many sins, and great calamities and punishments will come upon unfaithful husbands and wives: they will suffer for what they have sinned, and the evil that will come cannot be stopped. Do many penances, because the plague that will come will quickly spread, and many will be its victims. I beg you all: accept my appeals, because they are serious, and return to God. I bless you all: in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen!
(*) The Feast of the Marriage of Mary Most Holy with St. Joseph has spread in
France in the early 15th century, through the merits especially of Giovanni Gersone (13631429), a great devotee of St. Joseph. Adopted by many religious Orders it spread everywhere, fixed preferably on January 23. Benedict XIII introduced it in the Papal State in 1725. Another one, who deserves to be remembered and who contributed much to this devotion, was St. Gaspar Bertoni, who, in Verona, dedicated a major altar of the Church of the Stigmata to the Holy Spouses Mary and Joseph, celebrating their wedding feast with solemnity since 1823, a tradition always preserved by the Stigmatines. His first biographer wrote: "Thus having had the principal merit of propagating in Verona and rooting in hearts the devotion to St. Joseph, he was also the author of the veneration of the holiest of spouses, almost as a presage until then that his spiritual children would have in the most holy spouses their most valid protectors."
