Message from Santa Inês
Dear brothers, I, INÊS, servant of the Most High and of VIRGIN MARIA, greet you and give you peace.
The lover resembles the beloved, it is the most peculiar property of love; to make the one who loves resemble the object loved.
If your hearts love creatures, they will resemble them and even more, they will be slaves to them, because love not only resembles the one who loves the loved object, but also makes the one who loves submit to being loved. That is why the soul that is attached to creatures and loves them in disorder cannot unite with GOD, because the love they feel for creatures makes them resemble them, thus preventing them from conforming themselves to the pure and perfect Image of GOD.
Therefore, one must renounce attachment to creatures, so that the soul can conform to the perfect and holy Image of GOD!
As the soul is united to GOD, by the close and mysterious bonds of supernatural love, of friendship love; al,more and more will conform to the perfect Image of GOD, without wrinkle, without stain, without stain.
GOD is light that knows no shadows and the more the soul resembles him, the more perfectly it will reproduce the perfect Image of GOD; without shadow, without sunset [2][1].
The soul that is still attached to the creatures, has not conquered the flesh, therefore, it cannot enter the room of the king's banquet, because it does not yet have that nuptial garment, which is the supernatural and trancedental love that makes the soul dignified and coexistent of the king's banquet.
The soul must always resort to divine help so that it may overcome itself and freely attain pure and trancedental love.
I am here to help you achieve that pure love and to help you unite your souls with GOD in such a supernatural and firm way that nothing, neither death, nor hell, nor any creature can separate you from GOD.
Go to Me, I am always ready to help you. I, IN YOURSELF, bless you now.
