Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come Spirit of God, and save us.
Save us all from Satan, from sin, from all physical, mental, moral illness.
Save us from every obsession and infernal legion.
Come, and save us from our little faith, from our murmuring, from our condemning and judging those who err, those who deviate, those who groan.
Save us from our desire to appear righteous and holy, when You know we are not. Save us from our sin, from our mistakes, from our discontent, from our contempt for others, from our fear of judgment and condemnation, from our fear of being alone and crushed by our pain.
Save us from our physical and spiritual enemies, but especially from ourselves.
Save us from our pride, pride, greed, revenge, and all our vile feelings, sentiments.
Give us disgust of Satan, and venial and mortal sin.
Save us from our selfishness. Save us from our not corresponding to Heaven, to the Maternal Appeals.
Save us from our little faith, from not believing enough in You.
Save us from our apathy, laziness, from our desire to prevaricate and harm the other, seen as the different, the leper, to be marginalized and condemned.
Save us from our hypocrisy, from our feeling that we are righteous, holy, divine, so much so as to set ourselves up as judges of frail and tempted brothers and sisters, whom, though sinners, You want to save again and again, for You are Infinite Mercy, Ocean of Peace, Uncreated Love, Wind of Eternal Freshness and Burning Bush, Holy Chrism of our soul.
Save us from our distorted selves, from our past of pain and sin, of thick darkness and unrighteous ways, from our deviances and hidden vices, from our wounds and traumas, from sudden abandonments, and from every human and demonic illusion and deception.
Save us from the desire to be understood, helped, loved, not left to our own drama.
Make us understand that it is at Night that we admire the Stars. Amen.
